Finally covered all the essential 2023 releases, so it’s time to look back at my personal Helioscope highlights. More than half of the tracks have not been played on a different set of mine actually. Also, this is probably the shortest Yearmix as far as I know, but the quality of that year’s music was still very high. I just took a “no-frills” approach this time. I’ll probably remember this as the year of Marsh’s “Endless” album which is undeniably my AOTY, but also my annual favorite comes from the same label: Cristoph’s remix of Eli & Fur’s “Last Train” on Anjunadeep. Sublime!
