Positive community feedback led me to renew Distant on a quarterly basis. I won’t prepare yearmixes for Distant any longer, since the love for DnB has dwindled and I couldn’t even pick a top 10. There’s been so much to catch up to in terms of material worthy to feature, so I thought I’d first limit it to everything that has been released up until February 28, 2020. Although this new year looks promising with a new Hospital compilation and a Calibre LP around the corner, I’ll use the start-of-year gap in releases to go on hiatus with Distant – this Yearmix being the final set for now. The time I am able to commit to producing sets is getting shorter every year, so I’ll focus on a regular output for Planetarium and Helioscope instead.
