Positive community feedback led me to renew Distant on a quarterly basis. I won’t prepare yearmixes for Distant any longer, since the love for DnB has dwindled and I couldn’t even pick a top 10. There’s been so much to catch up to in terms of material worthy to feature, so I thought I’d first limit it to everything that has been released up until February 28, 2020. The liquid drum and bass series wakes up from its hiatus in a smaller scale than before. I basically lost interest in the genre, but when going through the new releases I found some gems that I could not leave unplayed. Combining this with the steadily growing follower crowd, I decided to give Distant one last try – with (probably) five mixes spread over the course of 2019.
