It’s yearmix time! This year I collected 87 tracks in total which I deem noteworthy for a year-end retrospective. However, in order to prevent the mixes from having a 5-hour-plus runtime the two main “Best of Planetarium 2019” mixes will be roughly 2 hours or 20 tracks in length. Brian Housman, curator of the Stationary Travels blog and Mixcloud channel, has been a key influence for my Planetarium sets for many years. I asked him for a submission to the 6-year anniversary of Planetarium (which happened last Friday on November 1) and he kindly put together an entrancing journey through the past six years of ambient music up to very recent releases.
