Brian Housman, curator of the Stationary Travels blog and Mixcloud channel, has been a key influence for my Planetarium sets for many years. “Flume” (water channel) is the English translation of the title of a new Planetarium curated 90-minute set that makes forest scapes almost tangible. With water rivulets surrounding you in your aural environment, this is as close to nature ambient as it can get. The compilation featuring the mavens of modern classical and electic sound feasts is very grounded, soft like moss, but still captures an atmosphere that feels ethereal.
